We’ve received a teeny, tiny allocation of the incredibly hard to find ‘Mon Pere’ Shiraz by Tasmanian producer Glaetzer-Dixon. We could rave about it, but we’ll leave it to wine critic Campbell Mattinson to say all that needs to be said:
“Cool climate. In the best sense of the words. This is a beautiful wine. Fluid, riven with pepper-spice, satiny and long. The Jimmy Watson wasn’t a fluke. This is quite exquisite. Meat, cloves, liquorice, roasted nuts and black cherries. Woodsmoke drifting through. Herbage as an afterthought, but an important one.”
In decanter from Thursday 16 July until we run dry. $15 per glass.
